About Trampled Under Foot

Trampled Underfoot was established in 2000 by two friends, Julian Pollard and Giles Cowley.

The company owes it’s origins to the fact that in order to fund a family holiday, Giles and Julian purchased a 20ft container of trampolines from JumpKING in the United States to sell to family and friends.

This proved to be so successful that a further 40ft container was purchased, and very quickly sold out. Realising the potential for quality Garden Trampolines in the UK, backed up with exceptional customer service Giles and Julian threw themselves into the new venture and quickly established a reputation as one of the UK’s leading suppliers of JumpKING Trampolines.

JumpKING USA who were the main supplier of Trampled Underfoot closed in 2004. As a result the YJ Corporation in China purchased the JumpKING Brand Name.

YJ approached Trampled Underfoot, and were so impressed with the performance of the company that they offered exclusive rights to all JumpKING products, not only for the UK but for Europe, The Middle East and South Africa, as well as granting exclusive access to the YJ manufacturing facility for all products in these countries.

With a similar arrangement in place with our counterparts in America, TUF and YJ set about revolutionising the trampoline market.
Firstly, a new design trampoline was developed, The JumpKING JumpPOD, with several unique properties that are unavailable from any other supplier.

The JumpPOD went on to become the biggest selling Trampoline in the UK in 2006, and 2007.

Secondly, the quality and unique benefits of the YJ Manufacturing facility was recognised by Wallmart and Sams Club in the US, K-Mart in Australia, ASDA in the UK and COOP in Switzerland.

As a result YJ are now responsible for an estimated 60% of all Trampolines manufactured worldwide.

Further development and expansion has now seen many other ranges of outdoor toys and activities developed, not least the Bazoongi Kids range of products. From Sleeping bags, to play structures and tents, all are manufactured by YJ to an exceptionally high standard.

Trampled Underfoot/YJ continue to be innovative in engineering and design, with 2008 seeing the launch of an exclusive OvalPOD Trampoline.
